With rising wait times for consultant-led care in Northern Ireland, the GP Elective Care Service (GPECS) offers a faster, safer alternative for managing chronic conditions.
Run by specially trained GPs across 17 federation areas, GPECS clinics operate within host GP practices to:

Educate both patients and GPs

Support self-management of common conditions
During the COVID-19 pandemic, GPECS provided a series of webinars for GPs on Dermatology, MSK, and Women’s Health, supporting continued education and patient care.
